WELCOME TO LX51 STUDIOS & SUITES
A 19th-century house, home to Lisbon's middle-class families, its central location afforded easy access to workplaces, schools, and traditional markets. The name LX51 is an ode to the city's well-known abbreviation and the number that identifies the house's door. In this accommodation unit, with studios, suites, and rooms, we sought to create an intimate and relaxed atmosphere, combining and honoring the tradition of an old Lisbon building with industrial decor in a contemporary style.
AN INTIMATE SPACE
Renovated in 2018 and converted into a guesthouse, we sought to maintain the traditional features of old Lisbon. The wooden staircases and corridors from the colonies, the Portuguese stone entrance, the interior courtyard, and the façade with its characteristic balconies, where families enjoyed sunny afternoons while admiring the hustle and bustle of passersby.
